The LX7-1 kit program gives you the flexibility to customize the plane to suit your needs and budget. It also puts you in control of the construction timeline, getting you in the air at your own pace.
For the low introductory price of $499,970, RDD will set you up with the initial construction package, including:
This package includes a one-week Build Assist Program which will close the wing and the horizontal stabilizer, mate the wing to the fuselage, and attach the empennage to the fuselage – basically completing the geometric assembly of the entire airplane. This ensures accurate construction and consistent flight characteristics for every LX7-1. Each one leaves our facility with an empty weight of 2,100 lbs., a gross weight of 3,750 lbs., a useful load of 1650 lbs., and a payload of 900 lbs. when the fuel tank is full. (1)
From there, we provide a network of locations where you can assemble your aircraft at your convenience for a set weekly fee. We also set you up with detailed instructions that will enable you to complete the assembly of your plane with a host of optional features, such as:

Plus, for a nominal fee, RDD experts are available to provide In-process Inspections at key points throughout the process, as well as a First Flight Program and Factory Transition Training(4) to make sure you go skyward with assurance and peace of mind. With an estimated build time of 1,100 hours(5), depending on the options you choose, you could be flying high with significant savings.
